Why is my order delayed?

Sometimes situations arise that can cause shipping delays.

Some examples include:
Delayed manufacturing, delayed delivery, higher ordering volumes, large preorder releases, etc. We often times see the longer processing time during the holiday season. Rest assured when we face these delays our team works hard to keep things processing as quickly as possible and it's very likely your order won't be delayed long.

 

PRESALE DELAYS
 
We know these can be incredible frustrating! Unfortunately these delays are they are also completely out of our control. The biggest culprits for delays are preorders containing vinyl and special custom items due to the delicate manufacturing process. When we are made aware of any major delay we will email customers who purchased the items impacted as soon as we have the proper information available. We rely heavily on the bands, management, labels, and manufacturers to provide updated information time lines so we can pass the information along to you. Sometimes these updates take time to get to us, therefore we may see some lag in being able to provide these updates to you. However we all do our best to make sure you are informed as quickly as possible once we're aware of any delay! 

DIRECT TO GARMENT & SPECIALTY ITEMS
 
Some items available on our site are listed as presale for direct to garment printing. These items will generally have a note including the processing time is extended with an "estimated ship date" about 2 weeks (10 business days) from the date the order is placed. This is because we don't hold stock of the item and it's printed specifically for your order. This does require a little longer processing time. Once your order is placed it is sent off to our print shop to be completed. If you place an order for multiple items all items will ship once the direct to garment item is completed and ready for shipment. If you go back to the item you may notice that the date changes, this is due to the processing time mentioned above. If for some reason our processing time is longer you may notice the date on your order status change daily, this is nothing to worry about, it's simply that your order is taking a little longer than originally expected. Likely due to a large volume of D2G orders (especially during the holiday).
 
PURCHASING DIRECTLY FROM THE ARTIST SITE
 
Some of our sites are managed by the artists themselves directly. We think this is an awesome way for them to create their own vision and express themselves for the fans! Unfortunately the only draw back is because we do not manage these sites directly sometimes their information about processing time may vary from ours or they may not include information about preorder ship dates when there are extended wait periods. 
 
OUT OF STOCK ITEM
 
If your order does contain an item that is unavailable it may delay processing slightly. If this is the case we will reach out to you to let you know. Sometimes items are on order to be reprinted so there is an option to wait, other times the items will not be available again so a refund will be processed. Either way we always email to let you know.
